Girly Stars Nails Did
It's seriously been one of those weeks. So in order to make myself feel better I thought I'd do something cheery and out of character. The cheery is the stars which I love, the out of character is definitely the pink!
It made me smile even though it only lasted 2 days. I really REALLY need to go out and buy another bottle of OPI's base coat. Right now I'm using a Sally Hansen brand and I'm lucky if my polish wears more than a day :(
I used Eyeko's Punk Polish for the base, and then a Bundle Monster plate with Konad special black polish for the stamp. I know its simple, but sometimes after a hard week you just have to keep things easy.
If you haven't already - take some time to enter my latest Eyeko Giveaway!

So Many Weddings Nails Did
For my mani - which again was rushed :P - I used this new H&M polish I bought called Grey Sky which is a grey with purple hues and a wee bit of shimmer. It comes in this cute little bottle that now I have to go back and buy some more because I used too much already! Ontop I used Konad black and a Bundle Monster Image plate for the stamp. Then I put on some black pearls that I found at the craft store and a little dot of white from a nail art pen in the middle of each flower stamp. I know its a little dark looking for a wedding - but hey my dress was black and I was having an AWFUL time finding a maternity dress suitable enough for a wedding! Yes that's Ben's eye peeking out in my picture.
Oh, and this is me and my longtime friend Teresa doing the chicken dance...which seemed to last forever. She specifically requested it. It was baby's first ho-down! By the way, Teresa also makes some fab beaded jewelery. Pop on by BuonaBam to check it out!

Gaga Nails Did + Guest Mani
I. Am. So. Tired. I went to the Lady Gaga concert last night though and it was totally worth it. Didn't get home till 1am and am currently head down on my desk but its all good. It was an awesome concert with some awesome company wearing some pretty fantabulous outfits! I love Gaga. She's like candy to me - you know its not necessarily good for you but you gotta have its sugary pop goodness anyway! So, obviously, I did my nails to commemorate the event. I sort of based it off the picture of her getting out of the pool all black and silver and shiny.
Left Hand
Right Hand
I used China Glaze Liquid leather for the black and Platinum Silver for the silver (obviously lol). Then I used a bunch of grey, black and diamond rhinestones bought from the craft store! Most of the rhinestones ended up getting stuck in my hair and a couple on my back when I woke up this morning but its all good.
Here are some pics from the concert...yes I was THAT high up! Click to enlarge.
I also bring you a quick guest mani! This is Teresa's lovely hand (I know shes gonna hate this picture - no you DO NOT have man hands). She was going on a hot date so we did something quick to match her dress. The base is OPI's Purple-opolis with a coat of Orly Fantasea and a Bundle Monster design stamped in China Glaze 2030. It came out cute and simple. Apologies for the lack of cleanup we were in a rush :). Also if you're a jewelery lover, check out Teresa's BuonaBam website where she does super reasonably priced handmade jewelery!

Lady Bugs and Leaves Nails Did
What. A. Week. Seriously. Let me give you some advice everyone: if your company moves and decides to get a whole bunch of new technology - don't volunteer to be the front man on it. Especially when you find out that the "new" technology is like taking a step back to the stone age from your current "old' technology. Seriously. I thought new tech was supposed to make your life easier/faster. But really its just draining my soul! Needless to say once I get home I basically stuff whatever is in the fridge into my mouth then pass out - BUT today I got off a bit early so I did my nails YAY.
So I got my new Bundle Monster plates in the mail the other day and they're fabulous! I loved this leaf pattern that was on one of them so I started off with a base of Nubar Forest and stamped Nubar Green Tea in the leaf pattern on top. Then I freehanded little lady bugs on them with red and black nail art pens but also used a touch of Zoya Nidhi for a little red sparkle that I won from a twitter contest by Scandalous Ange!
Oh - has anyone else used the Seche ridge filling base coat? I picked some up from Winners of all places for only $3!! And you know what - CHIP CITY! Seriously this base coat is crap. What are you using for base coat? I'm in the market!
