Mexican Fiesta Nails Did

I'm back! Mexico was awesome and in some ways super surprising! Who knew that Mexico could actually be kinda cold! I think there's a total misconception that Mexico is like the Caribbean...but its not. But all in all we only had one cold day (and it still wasn't as bad as the 3 snowstorms that hit Toronto when I was gone...suckers :P ) and the rest was pretty beautiful! We did lots of stuff including seeing Chichen-Itza one of the 7 Wonders of the World, snorkling at a natural ecopark called Xel-ha, swimming with sea turtles and sunning on their beautiful beach. It was a great week, but I missed Ben and of course my blog so I had to come back! :D

So I thought I'd do something a little sunny and cheery to keep the Mexico vibe going for just a few days more! So, for a base I used China Glaze Solar Power with CG Turned up Turquoise and CG Purple Panic for the coloured swoops using some manicure nail guides from Sally Hansen. Then I dusted on some Nubar holographic polish to give it a bit of sparkle. It reminds me of some of the awesome colours I saw on vacation. Sigh....I wanna go back. Who's in??
I thought I'd post a few pics of my trip too! Now to look forward to the next trip...in 2 months! What can I say, I'm a jet setter.

OH! And I also managed to pick up a few fun goodies from the Mexican WALMART! LOL. By goodies I mean polish of course...but they're for my next giveaway, so you'll just have to wait to see what they are!

Hope everyone had a great week while I was away!
